Additional Queue Runners Addon
If you're finding that your project's queue regularly has a large backlog of jobs, then you might want to increase the number of queue runners that your project has available using the "Additional Queue Runners" addon.
It extends the Dedicated Queue Runner feature by adding extra dedicated processes which each execute jobs independently of one another. By default, the dedicated queue runner runs as a single process, so adding extra runners adds more processes to allow jobs to be run in parallel.
Due to commonly-observed concurrency issues, we only permit two additional queue runners to be added, allowing a project to have at most three queue runners in total.
This addon is only available on Enhanced and higher plans. If your project is currently subscribed to the Starter plan, please upgrade to gain access to this addon.
Applying this addon #
To increase the number of queue runners, perform the following steps:

Visit the "Addons" section your project's Plan page.

Under the "Additional Queue Runners" row, click the "+" and "-" buttons to add or remove runners.

Click the "Apply" button on the same row to view the price breakdown (no change will be made or charge taken at this point)

Click the confirm button to apply the addon. This will take a charge from your team's billing card and then immediately perform a sync afterwards to deploy the upgrade.
