Manage Your Contact Preferences

Servd sends a variety of emails to our users to keep you informed of events that might impact your projects.

You can choose which of these emails you receive by managing your Contact Preferences from within the Servd Dashboard.

  1. Login to the Servd dashboard

  2. Visit the User Settings Page

  3. Select and/or deselect email types for individual projects and teams

  4. Click Save

Email Categories

The emails we send are split up into multiple categories which you can opt in and out of individually. The categories are as follows:

Product Updates

We like to keep you up to date with new features and functional changes that we're making to the Servd platform. This category covers any emails related to those changes.

You can unsubscribe from this category if you aren't interested in keeping up to date with the latest functionality on the Servd platform.

Blogs and Articles

We sometimes write articles, blogs and case studies that we'd love to share with you. Sometimes, other people also write nice things about us too! We use this category to share any of those that we think you might be interested in.

You can unsubscribe from this category if you aren't interested in reading about the wider Servd ecosystem.

Project Activity

Any activity updates specifically related to projects hosted on Servd. This might include changes to a project's status including trials expiring or any other project specific information that we need to share with you.

You can unsubscribe from this category if you aren't interested in receiving general informational updates about specific projects.

Maintenance Alerts

We occasionally need to perform planned maintenance on individual projects or on the Servd platform as a whole. We'll use this email category to let you know about when and why those things are occurring.

You can unsubscribe from this category if you aren't interested in maintenance alerts for specific projects.

Incident Reports

If something goes wrong with a project, or we take action to fix a problem that we are alerted to, we'll use this category to send you followup incident reports. These will include an overview of the problem and whether it has or is yet to be fixed along with any other useful information that we think might be useful for you.

You can unsubscribe from this category if you aren't interested in knowing when a specific project breaks or we've noticed that it needs some sort of intervention.

Team Activity

General informational updates that are specific to a Team that you have access to. This might include new members joining the team or other organisational events that occur.

You can unsubscribe from this category if you aren't interested in the comings and goings of a specific Team.

Billing

This category includes any billing events including subscription renewals (with invoices), payment failures, and alerts for updates to payment details.

You can unsubscribe from this category if you aren't interested in billing events for a specific team.
